Schüssel Live at the Hessentag

Local comedian Peter Schuessler (known as “die Schüssel”) appeared on stage at the Markplatz during the Hessentag in Oberursel yesterday.

He entertained the crowd – many of whom were sitting on the cobble stones in front of the stage – with stories of his life with his wife of the past 25 years, Frieda, and his grandson Heinz-Rüdiger.

We were treated to his views on topics such as art, cars, doctors, Ikea, nordic walking, the internet, and especially his favourite football team Eintracht Frankfurt.

The closing highlight was his rendition of “My Way”, sung with localised Oberursel lyrics.
