The Nachhaltigkeitssong Premiere with Jennifer Braun

The premiere of the new “Nachhaltigskeitssong” took place at the Hessentag in Oberursel on Sunday.

Nachhaltigkeit means sustainability, and is one of the keywords at the Hessentag.  The pop song, called “Jetzt und für immer” (now and for ever) was performed by Jennifer Braun and the band “Rewind” on the Süwag stage in the Rushmoor Park.

The song project was introduced by local radio presenter Bastian Korff with the finance minister for the State of Hesse, Prof. Dr. Luise Hölscher, and CO2 learning network representative Jörg Schmidt.

They explained the principle of sustainability: not taking more out of the environment than we put back into it each your and saving energy to do so.  The refrain of the song claims that we are not far away from this (“wie sind nicht so weit weg”).
