Book flea market near Camp King
The Church meeting point “Aktiv im Norden” is holding a flea market for books on Saturday, 30th June, 2012 between 10am and 1pm.
To get there by car, set your navigation equipment to “Im Rosengärtchen 37″ in Oberursel.

There will be a large book flea market in Oberursel’s library on between Wednesday, 27th June and Saturday, 30th June 2012 with proceeds going to the library’s supporters’ association.
This market takes place on the 1st floor and has a larger selection of books than the monthly one, so there are usually foreign-language books there as well.

Friday 10-1 & 3-6
Saturday 10-1
The library is located at one end of the market square in Oberursel, in the Eppsteinerstraße.
The nearest car parks are “Bleiche” and in the Holzweg. The nearest train station is Altstadt (U3).
Coffee on Sunday Afternoon at the Seniorentreff
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be holding a coffee afternoon on Sunday, 24th June 2012 between 2pm and 6pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
TaunusDisco for over 40s at Tanzschule Pritzer
A disco for over 40s is being held under the name of “TaunusDisco” in the dance school “Tanzschule Pritzer” in the old station building on Saturday 23rd June, 2012.
The music will be a mixture of current music such as “funk” and “soul”, and also some lesser-known pieces such as World Music, all mixed by DJ Param.
Entry is from 9pm and costs 8 Euro.
Energy saving advice
The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 21st June, 2012 between 2pm and 6pm.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.
Bingo at the Seniorentreff
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering an afternoon of Bingo on Thursday, 21st June, 2012 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
Anyone who is interested is invited to come along and try their luck!
Donate Blood in Bad Homburg
Blood can be donated at Hochtaunuskliniken in Bad Homburg (Ursuler Straße 33) on Wednesday, 20th June 2012 between 3pm and 8pm.
To donate you must be healthy and between 18 and 68 years of age. If you have not donated before, then you must not be over 60. You must take some form of identification with you, such as a passport, that contains a photo.

A Tour of the Hohemark
A walk entitled “Rund um die Hohemark” (round about the Hohemark) is being held on Saturday, 16th June, 2012.
Local historian Manfred Kopp and Gottfried Cramer from the Hohe Mark clinic will be guiding visitors around and explaining the history of the area, such as the weavers (“Spinnerei Hohemark”) and the town water supply.
The tour starts at 2pm at the Taunus Information Centre and costs €3 per person.
3,000 step walk for senior citizens
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering a 3,000 step walk on Wednesday, 20th June, 2012.
To take part, be at the Christuskirche in the Oberhöchstädter Straße at 3pm.
