Grosse Hammerform – the large hammer at the station

The large hammer at Oberursel station

The “Grosse Hammerform” (large hammer) is a combination of burnt and unburnt oak and was made by sculptor Eberhard Müller-Fries during the Hessentag.

It forms the start of the “Skulpturenachse” (Sculpture axis) between the station in Oberursel and the Hohemark.
