The lost property office (Fundbüro) in Oberursel’s town hall has released a list of items that have been handed in between May and July this year.

Amongst the latest finds are ID cards, six pairs of glasses, four purses, three mobile phones, various items of clothing and cosmetics, two rings, a number of keys, a music stand, a porcelain doll, two rucksacks and a number of tools.

They can be collected at the Rathaus in room 101A within 6 months of them being handed in. For more information call 06171 502-371 or -262.

The lost property office (Fundbüro) in Oberursel’s town hall has released a list of items that have been handed in between February and April this year.

Amongst the latest finds are ID cards, 18 bicycles, three pairs of glasses, five purses, four mobile phones, an iPad, various items of clothing, four rings, an umbrella, a number of keys, a hearing aid, two earrings, a pair of binoculars and a sledge.

Lost property (December 2012 and January 2013)

The lost property office (Fundbüro) in Oberursel’s town hall has released a list of items that have been handed in during December and January.

Amongst the latest finds are three ID cards, seven bicycles, two pairs of glasses, two digital cameras, three purses, two rings, various items of clothing, two rucksacks, 19 keys, an ipod and a figure from a Christmas crib.

The lost property office (Fundbüro) in Oberursel’s town hall has released a list of items that have been handed in during August and September.

Amongst the latest finds are four ID cards, seven bicycles, three pairs of glasses, a walking stick, four purses, three mobile phones, a SIM card, keyrings, an arm band, an earring, a baby’s rattle, three watches and various items of clothing.

They can be collected at the Rathaus in room 101A within 6 months of them being handed in. For more information call 06171 502-371 or -262.

Meanwhile some older items are currently being auctioned off on the website www.sonderauktionen.net.

Warnung for property owners about fake pipe inspections

Warning sign - ©iStockphoto.com/kysaOberursel’s town administration has issued a warning today for property owners who may be called by a company calling themselves “Rohrservice 24” in connection with an inspection of sewage pipes (“Sammelsichtung der Kanalrohre”).

Apparently they are claiming to have a public service contract say that owners of private property have to pay 49 Euro for the service.

The town administration and maintenance department (BSO) advise in their warning that this service has not been initiated by them and recipients of such calls should not respond to the demands being made.

Anyone unsure about the authenticity of a caller should ring the maintenance department on 06171 704-300.
