Oberursel City Card collected for Schüssel

The “Oberursel City Card” group were giving away free points to visitors to the autumn market (“Herbsttreiben”) at the weekend.  In return for a donation of at least one Euro, City Card owners could spin the wheel and earn themselves some extra points.

The proceeds went to the good cause known as “Schüssel und Freunde helfen”

When Schüssel met Maddin…

At the autumn market (“Herbsttreiben”) at the weekend, local comedian “Schüssel” met up with Maddin Schneider, who, although also born locally, is now known thoughout Germany thanks to numerous television appearances.

Schüssel’s next season starts on Saturday, 28th September, 2013 in the Alt Oberurseler Brauhaus and Maddin will be appearing in the Stadthalle on Wednesday, 30th October.

Oberursel and the Taunus (TV)

In the programme, which is due to be transmitted at 8.15pm, Oberursel’s arguably most famous comedian Peter Schuessler will be taking viewers on a tour through town.

The programme is called “Oberursel und der Taunus” in German and will be repeated tomorrow morning at 1.45am.
