Hello!

My name is Graham Tappenden, I am 37 years old and live in Germany with my wife Michaela and our daughter Sarah.

I was born in Kent, England and attended Sir Roger Manwood’s Grammar School in Sandwich. After that I studied German and Computer Science at Aston University. Whilst there I spent 12 months in Germany working for Psion GmbH in Bad Homburg.

After getting my degree I returned to Bad Homburg to work full time for Psion until 2001. Since then I have worked for companies such as Sinius (a sub-sidiary of Siemens and Deutsche Bank) and UBS.

In July 2006 I became self-employed, and now provide technical support for small businesses, freelancers and private households in and around Oberursel and Bad Homburg.

I decided to write this homepage in order to help those looking to follow in my footsteps and move to Germany to live, work or for a work placement.

Where I live

Oberursel is about 20km north of Frankfurt am Main in Germany.
