Stingray videos

After blogging about the stingray in Puerto del Carmen harbour yesterday, I decided to take a look on YouTube to see if I could find a video of one jumping as had been reported.

I did! And here it is:

But even more interesting was that I actually found a video of a stringray in the harbour at Puerto del Carmen! Being so shallow, the video is well lit:

In fact, I found that video amazing to watch as it is just so calm and the stingray doesn’t appear to be bothered by the diver swimming along behind it.

New Year fireworks

I recorded a video of the fireworks last night (this morning) from our balcony. It is very dark, but in the second half you can clearly make out the rockets flying overhead and one being lit on the ground. It is also very noisy!

Sucre video tour

I found this video on YouTube. It shows the sights of Sucre, such as the white colonial-style buildings and churches, as well as some of the typical streets. There are children in school uniform, and views of some of the many smaller parks.

Later the video shows an evening scene at the main plaza, as well as walls of tombs in the graveyard.

Finally there is a short recording in a taxi. Here you can see how the car has been modified from right- to left-hand-drive. The speedometer is clearly visible on the right of the car, although the stearing wheel is now on the left.
