Amigos de Sucre

Things have been changing in Bolivia. The first indigenous president of the modern age, Evo Morales, was elected in 2005 and since then has made some dramatic changes to the country.

Sucre, in the middle of the country, may be the constitutional capital – but it is not the seat of government. Recently there have been discussions about returning government departments from La Paz to Sucre.

This site intends to document the changes and discussions going on by commenting on the news and with reports from people living there.

Feel free to comment and join in the discussion – and show that you are also an Amigo o amiga de Sucre.

Landing at Arrecife

I found this video on YouTube – it was made on board an aeroplane landing at Arrecife. The airport is situated on the coast and the plane is coming in from over the sea. Out of the window you can see the typical white buildungs next to the airport, in the far left of the picture maybe even of the end of Puerto del Carmen.
