In the last town council meeting of 2024, the decision was taken to start planning a road that will join one of the bypasses around the town with a small cul-de-sac near the station. It’s a topic that has been discussed by councillors for longer that I’ve been following local politics!

The future of the Siedlungslehrhof in Oberursel has been a topic of discussion for the past 15 years. Now the way has been cleared for work to start on new houses, which will in turn finance work on the historical buildings.

Last year I made a Reel about this area behind the old cemetery in Bommersheim, part of Oberursel. I also broadcast a livestream with the a local initiative that were trying to stop it. Now the “Bebauungsplan” has been approved and my article about that is in the Oberurseler Woche.
