Trout poachers in northern Oberursel

The trout farm in “Dalbigsborn” (the area to the south of the FIS campus) received an unwelcome visit on Tuesday or Wednesday last week (20th or 21st August, 2013).

Fish poachers cut a 50 x 50cm hole in the gate, climbed through and used a fishing line made of cord, a hook and a piece of wood to go fishing.

It remains to be seen whether or not any fish were taken, but the damage so far is estimated to be around €200.  Anyone with information is asked to detectives in Bad Homburg on 06172 1200.
