Break-ins in shops in the Hohemarkstraße

Police reported this week that two neighbouring shops in the Hohemarkstraße were broken into in the early hours of Tuesday morning (5th March, 2013).

The two suspects forced open the door to a launderette at around 1.10am and unscrewed the cash register from its fixing, taking both the content and the cash register itself.  The total damage is estimated at over a thousand Euro and the break-in was recorded on the shop’s security cameras.

Police suspect it was the same thieves who broke into the nearby bistro and also stole the cash register, causing several hundred Euro of damage.

Anyone who witnessed the break-ins is asked to call Oberursel police on 06171 62400.
