Drunk driver caused car shunt in the Weißkirchener Straße

A 44-year-old woman from Oberursel was driving along the Weißkirchener Straße in her Opel Agila last Thursday (28th March, 2013) when she hit a BMW 316 which had been parked at the side of the road.  The force of the collision shunted the BMW onto a Renault Clio that was parked in front of it.  The total damage is estimated at €10,000.

Police believe that the accident was caused by the excessive alcohol that the driver had consumed.  A blood sample was taken and her Bulgarian driving license was confiscated.  She now faces a fine and the loss of her license for a considerable time.  She will probably also be required to take a psychological examination before it is returned to her.
