Speed trap on the Königsteiner Straße

Local police set up a speed trap last week on Friday, 5th December, 2014 between 6.55pm and 9.55pm on the Königsteiner Straße (K772) to check cars travelling out of the town on a stretch of road where only 70km/h is permitted.

Of the 200 vehicles that passed, 21 were travelling too fast.

However one car was travelling at 206km/h, meaning that the driver can expect a 3 month ban from driving, a 600 Euro fine and 2 points on their license.
