The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering an afternoon of Bingo on Thursday, 11th June, 2015 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
Anyone who is interested is invited to come along and try their luck!

Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 9th June, 2015, we are told that it will be a social environment study. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.
The showing starts at 9pm.

Tontauben hold singing flashmob

To highlight their search for new male singers the choir “Tontauben”, who are part of the Germania group of choirs in Weißkirchen, held a singing flashmob at the fountain festival. One of the places that they sang at was on the children’s mile on Saturday afternoon.

The playground in Camp King is paradise for children

12 years ago a new playground was built on the border between the residential areas “Im Rosengärtchen” and “Camp King”. Back then it was a project involving local parents, and today the playground connects the two areas. On four mornings a week, it is even used by the charity Aktion Kinderparadies e.V. to provide daycare for groups of young children.
