Registry office closed on Tuesday

The registry office (“Standesamt”) and the town hall department for cemeteries will be closed on Tuesday, 11th October, 2016 due to training.

A celtic funeral pileA tour entitled “Das keltische Leben am Fuße des Feldbergs” (celtic life at the foot of the Feldberg) is being held on Saturday, 8th October 2016 at 2pm.

The tour starts at the Taunus Information Centre and costs €5 per person, those taking part should have sturdy footwear.

 

Children’s cinema in the Portstrasse

If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.

The bluebox is located opposite the U-Bahn station “Altstadt” (formerly “Portstraße”).

 

Breakfast Buffet at the Seniorentreff

The Seniorentreff in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9) will be holding a breakfast buffet on Friday, 7th October 2016 between 9am and 11am.

To take part, register in advance by calling 06171 585333 and leave a message on the answerphone if necessary by Tuesday the week before.
