New Corona Rules in Hochtaunuskreis

New rules came into force at midnight in Hochtaunuskreis

Unless you are double-jabbed or have recovered from COVID-19, you will need a negative test to:

• eat inside a restaurant
• take part in an event with more than 25 people
• visit facilities for the disabled
• visit a fitness studio, indoor swimming pool, indoor sports hall, indoor culture locations and leisure facilities
• visit a casino
• stay the night in a hotel
• use close contact services (eg. a hair dresser)

Additionally, there is now a general requirement to wear a medical mask in situations, where you are unable to keep 1.5m distance from someone.

Outdoor events are now limited to 500 people, indoor events to 250 people, excluding those who are fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19.

Those who are fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 are reminded that although they exempt from the testing rules, they must still adhere to the face mask and social distancing rules.
