The annual carnival Karnevalssitzung in the St.Hedwig’s community in Oberursel is being held on Saturday, 11th February, 2012 in the Hedwigsheim (Freiherr-vom-Stein-Str. 8a).

The motto is “Büttenspass statt Wetten, dass…?'”, which doesn’t really translate into English that easily, but means that going there is more fun that watching Saturday evening television.

Music is being provided by the group “Nimm 2“.

The event begins at 20:11, doors open at 19:11 and tickets costs €9.

A carnival party for children is being at the KV Frohsinn 1890 e.V., Frohsinnweg 1 in Oberursel on Saturday, 5th March, 2011.  The Frohsinnweg is on one side of the road between Oberursel and Oberstedten.

Entry costs 1.50EUR and doors open at 2pm.

The organisation is celebrating their 121th anniversary this year – a special number, being 11 x 11 in 2011.

The “Karnevalsverein Club Geselliger Humor Weißkirchen 1952 e.V.” is holding a carnival party for children on Saturday, 5th March, 2011 at 2.11pm in the sports hall (Turnhalle) in Weißkirchen.

Entry costs €2.
