Oberursel’s Mayor Hans-Georg Brum giving an interview to a Vietnamese television crew at the cultural festival on Sunday, 21st September 2014. He was keen to point out that many people living in northern Frankfurt have Vietnamese roots and that there are a number of Vietnamese restaurants in the area. He saw Vietnam as a “travel destination of future”.
Sunday, 8th September, 2013 sees a multitude of events taking place in Oberursel, many within walking distance of each other.
Jazz meet Mühle
“Jazz meets Mühle” is an event being held for the second time along the Mühlenwanderweg.
At four places along the route there will be jazz bands playing, with refreshments available and a chance to see the historical buildings from a new perspective.
Although the event itself will be taking place between 10am and 5pm, the bands are playing at different times along the route, allowing visitors to experience each one in turn.
