A guided walk entitled “Auf den Spuren jüdischen Lebens in Oberursel” (Traces of Jewish life in Oberursel) is being offered on Sunday, 20th March, 2016 by historian Angelika Rieber.
The tour starts at 2.30pm at the fountain on the Marktplatz and costs 3EUR per person.
A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is taking place in Weißkirchen on Wednesday, 16th March, 2016.
To take part, be at the “Altes Rathaus” (Urselbachstraße 59) at 9.30am.
The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 19th March 2016 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
Friday night is music night at Musikhalle Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
On Friday, 18th March, 2016, another “Newcomer TV Night” is being held.
Doors open at 8pm for a 8.30pm start and entry costs €2.
The Seniorentreff in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9) will be holding a breakfast buffet on Friday, 18th March 2016 between 9am and 11am.
To take part, register in advance by calling 06171 585333 and leave a message on the answerphone if necessary by Tuesday the27 week before.
The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 17th March, 2016.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering a 3,000 step walk on Wednesday, 16th March 2016.
To take part, be at the Christuskirche in the Oberhöchstädter Straße at 3pm.
Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 15th March, 2016, we are told that it will be a refugee drama. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.

As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Sunday, 13th March, 2016, we are told that it will be a British comedy. If you do want to know which film will be shown or to reserve tickets call 06171 636930.
