Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 29th November, 2016, we are told that it will be an outsider film from Iceland. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.
The showing starts at 9pm.
There will be a large book flea market in Oberursel’s library on between Wednesday, 23rd and Saturday, 26th November, 2016 with proceeds going to the library’s supporters’ association.
This market takes place on the 1st floor and has a larger selection of books than the monthly one, so there are usually foreign-language books there as well.

The library is located at one end of the market square in Oberursel, in the Eppsteinerstraße.
The nearest car parks are “Bleiche” and in the Holzweg. The nearest train station is Altstadt (U3).
Friday night is music night at Musikhalle Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
On Friday, 25th November, 2016, another “Newcomer TV Night” is being held.
Doors open at 8pm for a 8.30pm start and entry costs €2.
Fibre-optic cables are being laid in the Alfred-Lechler-Straße and Friedländerstraße between Sunday, 20th November and Friday, 23rd December, 2016.
During this time parts of the footpath and the road may be inaccessible, however access to all of the properties along the road will be maintained.
The Alfred-Lechler-Straße contains not only the car park for the Taunus Information Centre, but also Frankfurt International School’s Primary School.
A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is taking place in Weißkirchen on Wednesday, 23rd November 2016.
To take part, be at the “Altes Rathaus” (Urselbachstraße 59) at 9.30am.

To take part, be at the bus stop “Altes Rathaus” in Stierstadt at 3pm.
Once a month the Bluebox Portstraße holds a Sunday morning breakfast buffet in their cinema.

The showing starts at 11.30am and they are located opposite the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 19th November 2016 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
The Seniorentreff in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9) will be holding a breakfast buffet on Friday, 18th November 2016 between 9am and 11am.
