The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 28th April 2018 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
The 21st “Autos in the Allee” takes place this weekend in Oberursel. The exhibition, which features 215 new cars from 15 local dealers was officially opened this morning (Saturday, 21st April, 2018) in the Adenauer Allee by Mayor Hans-Georg Brum, the newly crowned Fountain Queen Anna-Lena I., and the chairman of the local business association (Fokus O) Michael Reuter.
Sunday is “verkaufsoffen”, which shops in the town centre allowed to open. The 2nd Oberursel beer festival is also taking place this weekend on the Rathausplatz.

The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering a 3,000 step walk on Wednesday, 25th April 2018.
To take part, be at the Christuskirche in the Oberhöchstädter Straße at 3pm.
A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is taking place in Stierstadt on Tuesday, 24th April 2018.
To take part, be at the bus stop “Altes Rathaus” in Stierstadt at 3pm.
Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 24th April, 2018, we are told that it will be a generation portrait. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.
The showing starts at 9pm.
The musikhalle portstrasse is holding a “Friday night Jam Session” on Friday, 20th April, 2018, at 8pm.
Entry is free.
The “musikhalle” is located opposite the U-Bahn station “Altstadt” on the U3 line.
A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is taking place in Weißkirchen on Wednesday, 18th April 2018.
To take part, be at the “Altes Rathaus” (Urselbachstraße 59) at 9.30am.
The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 19th April, 2018.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be holding a Stammtisch on Friday, 20th April, 2018 between 5pm and 8.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
The Stammtisch is a place to discuss anything and everything that those attending wish to.
A charge of €7 per person will be made to cover the cost of food and drink and due to the limited number of places reservation by telephone (06171 585333) is requested.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering an afternoon of Bingo on Thursday, 19th April 2018 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
