“Es könnte alles so viel schöner sein, mit dem Sportpark Bommersheim”

Work started today (Monday, 21st August, 2017) in the road “An der Friedenslinde” in Bommersheim and is set continue until the end of March 2018.
The road and pavements are being re-surfaced and the level of the bus stops adjusted to allow step-free access to the buses.
While the work is going on, bus routes 42, 46, 47 and 49 are being diverted. The stops “An der Friedenslinde”, “Kalbacher Straße” and “Goldackerweg” cannot be serviced, instead the buses will travel along the Lange Straße and will stop at the Burgstraße on both directions, the Goldackerweg travelling into Oberursel and “Im Ölgarten” when travelling towards Weißkirchen.
During the coming week (Monday 31st July – Friday 4th August, 2017) work will be taking place on underground utility pipes near the “Drei Hasen” bridge. The slip road connecting the Nassauer Straße with the Homburger Landstraße travelling towards Bommersheim will be closed during this time.
Traffic will be diverted along the Willy-Brandt-Straße and “An den Drei Hasen” back towards and then under the bridge.
The slip road in the other direction is not affected.
Four bicycles worth several thousand Euros were stolen from a garden shed in the Bruchwiesenstraße in Bommersheim sometime between 7.30pm on Saturday, 15th July and 2.54am on Sunday, 16th July, 2o17.
