Musica Reifenberg provided the music for the celebrations
Acoustic guitarist Detlef Neuls will at Artcafe Macondo in the Strackgasse in Oberursel on Friday, 23rd March, 2012 starting at 8pm.
One show taking place almost daily during the Hessentag is the “Höhner Rockin’ Roncalli Show”.
The show times are: Monday and Wednesday to Saturday, 7.30pm and Sunday 7pm, with family shows on Monday and Saturday at 2.30pm and Sunday at 2pm.
The show is a combination of circus acts and rock music and is being held in a Big Top on the Rolls Royce field. It actually starts one day earlier than the Hessentag on 9th June.
The easiest way to get there is by U-Bahn, as the field is next to the “Lahnstraße” stop.

Jazz meets Gospel at the Hessentag in Oberursel on Monday, 13th June at 7.30pm in the Liebfrauenkirche.
The evening features Christoph Schönherr with “Magnificat”, Robert Ray with “Gospel Mass” and the Choir “Tontauben” from Oberursel-Weißkirchen conducted by Mark Opeskin.
The Church “Liebfrauenkirche” is located in the Berliner Straße, half way between the U-Bahn stations “Altstadt” and “Stadtmitte”.
A charity open-air concert called “Storys & Worship” is being held at the Hohemark Clinic in Oberursel on Monday, 13th June, 2011 at 7pm.
Starring Arne Kopfermann, Someday Jacob and Sara Lorenz, the concert is free to attend, but donations are requested. The donations will be used to fund a container which will be used to transport a carpenter’s workshop to Rwanda.
To get there by road, leave the A661/B455 at the “Oberursel-Hohemark” exist and follow the signs to the clinic. There is a car park at the clinic itself, however this is not free.
Using the U-Bahn, take the U3 to the end of the line “Hohemark”, from where it is a short walk.
Please note that in the event of bad weather, the concert will be cancelled, and guests should wear suitable clothing as the seating is not covered.
The band “Route 66” will be playing hits from the 1960s and 1970s at the Hessentag in Oberursel on Sunday, 12th June between 8.30pm and 11pm, and on Monday, 13th June between 11am and 1pm.
Both appearances will be at the Taunus-Bühne which is located in the Adenauerallee, approximately half way between the station and the pedestrian precinct.
The “Gardenproject Band” will be performing on Saturday, 7th May 2011 at 8pm in the Kirdorf part of Bad Homburg.
The rock group will be at Friedberger Straße 31 (the road that leads out of Bad Homburg towards Friedrichsdorf).
Tickets cost €6 and doors open at 7pm.

The 8th Music Night in Bad Homburg is being held on Saturday, 2nd April, 2011.
24 bands and DJs will be playing in 22 locations throughout the town centre such as the casino (Spielbank), Steigenberger Hotel as well as at bars and restaurants such as the Schreinerei, the new Irish Pub and even at Subway.
Entry to all of the locations costs a one-off fee of 10EUR.

The United Kingdom Ukulele Orchestra will be giving a concert at the Kurtheater in Bad Homburg on Saturday, 9th April 2011 at 8pm.
