To highlight their search for new male singers the choir “Tontauben”, who are part of the Germania group of choirs in Weißkirchen, held a singing flashmob at the fountain festival. One of the places that they sang at was on the children’s mile on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday, 9th May, 2015 saw the annual spring festival of the choral society “Germania 1873” in Weißkirchen take place with a new idea: in the sports hall of the TV Weißkirchen the stage had been decorated with flowers, but the singers were not standing on it. The music group “Germania 1873 Weißkirchen/Ts e.V.” are holding their spring festival on Saturday, 9th May, 2015 at 2pm at the sports hall of the “TV Weißkirchen”, which is located at Oberurseler Straße 16.
Among the groups singing will be the pop and jazz choir “Tontauben”.
The music group “Germania 1873 Weißkirchen/Ts e.V.” are holding a concert to celebrate their 140th anniversary on Sunday, 17th November, 2013 at 5pm in the sports hall of the “TV Weißkirchen”, which is located at Oberurseler Straße 16.
Among the groups singing will be the pop and jazz choir “Tontauben”.
Entry is free but a donation is requested.
The Gesangverein Germania 1873 in Weißkirchen will be holding an Advent concert on Sunday, 16th December, 2012 at 6.30pm in the St.Crutzen Church in Weißkirchen.
German and International Christmas songs will be sung by “Die Tontauben”, the Frauenchor and the youth choir “Sound Up!”, with guest appearances by “CanTaunus” and the harp group “Trio Del’ Arpa”.
Entry is free but a donation is requested.
The Gesangverein Germania 1873 in Weißkirchen will be celebrating not only their spring festival on Saturday, 5th May, 2012, but also the 40th anniversary of their children’s choir and the 30th anniversary of their youth choir.
The festival starts at 2pm and is being held at the Turnhalle in the Oberurseler Straße in Weißkirchen.
During the afternoon, each of the choirs in the club will be performing. Entry is free, but a donation is requested.

The evening features Christoph Schönherr with “Magnificat”, Robert Ray with “Gospel Mass” and the Choir “Tontauben” from Oberursel-Weißkirchen conducted by Mark Opeskin.
The Church “Liebfrauenkirche” is located in the Berliner Straße, half way between the U-Bahn stations “Altstadt” and “Stadtmitte”.
