A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is taking place in Stierstadt on Tuesday, 24th November, 2015.
To take part, be at the bus stop “Altes Rathaus” in Stierstadt at 3pm.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be holding a coffee afternoon on Sunday, 22nd November, 2015 between 2pm and 6pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
Friday night is music night at Musikhalle Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
On Friday, 20th November, 2015, another “Newcomer TV Night” is being held.
Doors open at 8pm for a 8.30pm start and entry costs €2.
The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 21st November, 2015 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be holding a Stammtisch on Friday, 20th November, 2015 between 5pm and 8.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
The Stammtisch is a place to discuss anything and everything that those attending wish to.
A charge of €7 per person will be made to cover the cost of food and drink and due to the limited number of places reservation by telephone (06171 585333) is requested.
The Seniorentreff in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9) will be holding a breakfast buffet on Friday, 20th November, 2015 between 9am and 11am.
To take part, register in advance by calling 06171 585333 and leave a message on the answerphone if necessary by Tuesday the week before.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering an afternoon of Bingo on Thursday, 19th November 2015 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
Anyone who is interested is invited to come along and try their luck!
The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 19th November 2015.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.
Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 17th November, 2015, we are told that it will be a legal drama. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.
The showing starts at 9pm.
Once a month the Bluebox Portstraße holds a Sunday morning breakfast buffet in their cinema.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Sunday, 15th November, 2015, we are told that it will be about a French comedy. If you do want to know which film will be shown or to reserve tickets call 06171 636930.
The showing starts at 11.30am and they are located opposite the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
