Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 31st October 2017, we are told that it will be a biographic film. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.
The showing starts at 9pm.

The story “Das kleine Gespenst” by Ottfried Preußler and Daniel Napp is being read in the library on Thursday, 26th October, 2017 at 4pm by volunteer Edith Nikel-Ruppmann.
Tickets cost €2 and should be reserved in advance in the library or by calling 06171 62870.
The Seniorentreff in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9) will be holding a breakfast buffet on Friday, 27th October, 2017 between 9am and 10.30am, with food and drink costing €6 per person.
To take part, register in advance by calling 06171 585333 and leave a message on the answerphone if necessary.
Friday night is music night at Musikhalle Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
On Friday, 27th October 2017, another “Newcomer TV Night” is being held.
Doors open at 8pm for a 8.30pm start and entry costs €2.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering an afternoon of Bingo on Thursday, 26th October 2017 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).

A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is taking place in Weißkirchen on Wednesday, 25th October 2017.
To take part, be at the “Altes Rathaus” (Urselbachstraße 59) at 9.30am.

“Ich war eine glückliche Frau” (I was a happy woman) is a film being shown tonight, Wednesday 18th October, 2017, on ARD.
Parts of the film were shot in Oberursel in the areas around the Altenhöferweg, Schulstraße and the Strackgasse.
