Venetian Play at the Waldorf School

It was back in May 2012 when the 8th year students of the Freie Waldorfschule Vordertaunus in Oberursel performed their play “Der Lügner” (The Liar) from Carlo Goldoni, first in the school’s chapel and then in the Klinik Hohe Mark.

Each year the 8th year students at the school perform a play, and this year their were accompanied by local actress Hedda Saggau.  Set in 18th Century Venice, the play was performed with several different casts.  In addition to the acting element, the students also produced the costumes and the scenery themselves, assisted by parents and teachers.

Excellent A-Level results at the Waldorf school

The Freie Waldorfschule Vordertaunus in Oberursel have announced that all 19 of their A-Level candidates have passed their exams this year.

It is the 8th year that students from the school have been able to take A-Levels, and the successful candidates are now have the “Allgemeine Hochschulreife” status meaning that they can study a range of subjects at university.

The subjects available were English, Biology, Geography, History, German, Mathematics, Politics, Economics, Art and Russian.

They reached an average score 0f 2.49.
