The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 17th May, 2014 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
The Junioren group pass the site of the Jandorf factory, now a newly-built set of flats, on the Hohemarkstraße during the cycle race “Rund um den Finanzplatz Eschborn-Frankfurt” on Thursday, 1st May, 2014.

Congratulations to Herr Martin Gärtner in Bommersheim who will be celebrating his 90th Birthday today.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering a 3,000 step walk on Wednesday, 7th May, 2014.
To take part, be at the Christuskirche in the Oberhöchstädter Straße at 3pm.
Friday night is music night at Musikhalle Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
On Friday, 9th May, 2014, the following bands will be playing starting at 8pm:

Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 6th May, 2014, we are told that it will be a co-operation with Amnesty International. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.
The showing starts at 8pm.
The Dampfbahnclub-Taunus e.V. steam railway in Oberursel will be open to the public on Sunday, 11th May, 2014 between 10am and 5pm.
Located at the end of the Mainstraße, entry costs €1,50 for adults and €0,50 for children. Children receive one ticket to go on the trains in the entry price, additional tickets are €0,50 each.
To get there, either leave the A661/B455 at “Oberursel-Nord” towards Oberursel, then take the first turning right into the Dornbachstraße. The Mainstraße is on the right-hand side.
By U-Bahn, take the U3 to Lahnstraße and cross the road before turning left into the Dornbachstraße.
