Due to the Brunnenfest the weekly market has been moved on Saturday 2nd June, 2012, to the Epinay-Platz.

For the Brunnenfest this weekend a number of roads in Oberursel will be closed or have restricted parking.
The following roads are closed from Thursday 31st May 9am until Tuesday 5th June
The following roads are closed from Friday 1st June 6pm until Tuesday 5th June
For both groups of roads residents should be able to access them until 6pm on Friday, between 1am and 12.30pm on Saturday, between 1am and 9am on Sunday, between 1am and 7pm on Monday. Residents in the affected area can also collect a permit in the foyer of the Rathaus to allow them to park for free in the Altstadt and Stadthall car parks.
A number of other streets will be made one-way for the duration of the festival.
Those coming in cars should either use the normal car parks or the additional spaces on offer at the Rolls Royce field and the swimming pool.
This weekend sees the annual Brunnenfest (Fountain festival) in Oberursel return after missing a year due to the Hessentag.
The festival runs from Friday 1st June until Monday 4th June 2012.
There will be music on stage at the Markplatz from Friday evening onwards and throughout most of the weekend, with a funfair atmosphere at the Bleiche and lots of stands selling food and drink inbetween the Bleiche and the Vorstadt.
An area for children called the Kindermeile will be open on Saturday afternoon from 3pm, and a yellow duck race on the Ursulbach on Sunday afternoon.
The festival closes at 10.30pm on Monday evening with a firework display.

The Stadtladen in the Strackgasse will be open during the forthcoming Brunnenfest to hear comments and ideas about the future development of Oberursel, known as STEP: Stadtenwicklungsplan
It will be open on Friday 1st June and Monday 4th June from 12 noon, Saturday and Sunday from 10am, and stay open each day until 6pm.

The car park “Bleiche” is closed from today to prepare for the Brunnenfest at the weekend.
