The Altkönigstraße will be closed from Monday, 29th September until Saturday, 11th October, 2014 between the Theodor-Heuss-Straße and Borkenberg.
Traffic will be diverted along the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße, Kleiststraße and Brüder-Grimm-Straße.
The Altkönigstraße will be closed from Friday, 2nd May until Saturday, 17th May, 2014 between the Theodor-Heuss-Straße and Borkenberg to allow for work on underground pipes to take place.
Traffic will be diverted along the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße, Kleiststraße and Brüder-Grimm-Straße.
The buses will, however, be able to follow their normal route.
Work will begin on the sewage pipes in the Theodor-Heuss-Straße on Monday, 6th January, 2014 increase and in some places double the capacity of the pipes.
The work will start at the Rotbornstraße and continue towards the Altkönigstraße along a length of 500m, which, including re-surfacing the road will take until July 2014.
At times the road will be closed and a diversion will be in place.
Due to the Altkönigstraße being closed in the coming weeks, the following bus routes will be diverted from today, 2nd April, 2013:
Routes 42, 45 along with school buses 48 and 49 will be diverted along the Theodor-Heuss-Straße, Brüder-Grimm-Straße and Rotbornstraße.
The bus stop “Theodor-Heuss-Straße” will be moved into that road, the stop “Schwimmbad” will not be serviced and a temporary bus stop will be in operation in the Rotbornstraße.
The Altkönigstraße will be closed between the Theodor-Heuss-Straße and Rotbornstraße from Tuesday, 2nd April until Friday, 31st May, 2013. This is to allow for work on the new swimming pool to take place.
A diversion will be in place via the Theodor-Heuss-Straße, Brüder-Grimm-Straße and Rotbornstraße.
