The Hohemarkstraße will be closed at “Im Diezen”.  Traffic travelling south will be diverted via Im Diezen, Erich-Ollenhauer-Straße, Freiligrathstraße, Herzbergstraße, Liebfrauenstraße, and back onto the Feldbergsraße.

The Feldbergstraße will be closed at the junction with the Kumeliusstraße.  Traffic travelling north will be diverted via the Kumeliusstraße and Berliner Straße back onto the Hohemarkstraße.

Traffic coming from the Königsteinerstraße will be diverted along “An der Heide” towards the Oberhöchstadter Straße, at the end of which it will be diverted into the Lindenstraße and onto the Nassauer Straße.  This diversion will also be in operation for traffic coming from the Nassauer Straße against the normal flow of the one-way streets.

Parking spaces along the route of the procession and the diversion routes will not be available, with “no stopping” signs in place.

The bus routes 41 and 42 will still be operating but will travel around the Homm-Kreisel in the opposite direction to the normal flow of traffic.

It is expected that the roads will re-open sometime after 8pm.

To allow the procession to form in the Altkönigstraße, it will not be possible to enter or leave the Taunabad car park, therefore it has been decided to close the swimming pool for the whole day.

Routes 44, 45 and 46 will start running at 8.30pm and will also be diverted.  Route 44 will use the route 43 diversion.  Route 45 will be diverted like route 41, and 46 like route 42.
