The lane to turn right into the Willy-Brandt-Straße at the “An den Drei Hasen” estate from the Homburger Landstraße has been closed due to work on the new garden centre.
It will remain closed until Saturday, 15th February, 2014.

The play “Mein alter Herr” (“My old Master”) being performed by the “Neue Bühne Oberursel” premiered last Friday (10th January, 2014) under the watchful eyes of director Christel Popadiuk. Indeed, Baron von Trutz-Zellin (Beppo Bachfischer) did bring stability to the household when he returned home with his young wife Karoline (Kathrin Henrich) – a wife, who knows what she wants.

The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be holding a coffee afternoon on Sunday, 19th January, 2014 between 2pm and 6pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
Once a month the Bluebox Portstraße holds a Sunday morning breakfast buffet in their cinema.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Sunday, 19th January, 2014, we are told that it will be an independet US film. If you do want to know which film will be shown or to reserve tickets call 06171 636930.
The showing starts at 11.30am and they are located opposite the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 18th January, 2014 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
The musikhalle portstrasse is holding a “Friday night Jam Session” on Friday, 17th January, 2014 at 8pm.
Entry is free.
The “musikhalle” is located opposite the U-Bahn station “Altstadt” on the U3 line.
The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 16th January, 2014.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.
