A year of Bodystreet in Oberursel

It has now been just over a year since the Bodystreet “microfitnessstudio” opened in the Holzweg in Oberursel, and now the staff are getting ready to celebrate their first anniversary.

In that year they have seen the business grow so that, although there is still sufficient capacity, there are times such as in the evenings where the appointments fill up quickly.  The growth has been organic too, with hardly any advertising and just a lot of word-of-mouth recommendations.

They have also taken part in local events such as the duathlon and the Brunnenfest run.

Technically the anniversary that has already come and gone, but that is not going to stop the party taking place on Friday, 27th June, 2014 at 6.30pm, and everyone – not just their regular clients – is invited.

Not only will the guests be treated to a demonstration of how the training works, they will be able to try out the “electrical muscle stimulation” for themselves on part of their arm and even sign up for a free 20 minute training session.

The food at the party will also be something out of the ordinary, as it will be made using the protein powder that is normally used to make the after-workout shakes, giving everyone a chance to try it.

Saturday evening there will also be a talent show for the town’s youth to show what they can do from 5pm until 7pm.  The show is aptly named “Kickfactor: … and what can you do?”

The fun fair is in its usual place on the Bleiche car park as is the craft market in front of the town hall, with a flea market taking place in the grounds of the Seniorentreff on Saturday (9am to 10pm) and Sunday (12pm to 10pm).

And this year also sees the return of the closing fireworks at 10.30pm on Monday evening. [Read more…]
