E-Bikes stolen from garden

Three thieves gained access a property in the Münzenburgstraße in Gonzenheim on Saturday, 15th July, 2017 at 3.20am.  Although a property was protected by a gate, the key to the gate was in the lock.

Once inside, they removed a white E-Bike and a blue and white mountain bike.  Although the E-Bike had a lock, neither of the bicycles was locked up.

The owner of the property heard the noises and made the thieves aware of his presence, after which they left with the bicycles but left two other bicycles behind in the process that are now with Oberursel’s police.

The stolen bicycles are worth about €2,800 together.

Theft from Garden Shed

Thieves used access to a neighbouring property in the road “Freiheit” in order to take articles from a garden shed, sometime between 7.30pm on Friday 18th March and 10.30am on Saturday, 19th March, 2016.

From the unlocked shed they stole a chain saw and a leaf blower.  Witnesses are asked to call the local police station.

Pflanzen Mauk – a new Garden Centre

Last Monday (25th November, 2013) saw the ground-breaking ceremony take place for a new garden centre, set to open mid-2014 in the “Drei Hasen” area of Oberursel.

Pflanzen Mauk is a family-run business which currently has six garden centres in the state of Baden-Wüttemberg with 250 employees.  Now they are set to expand into Hessen. [Read more…]

Huts at allotments broken into

On the night of 21st/22nd October, 2013, at least four garden huts were broken into at the allotments “In den Kreuzhecken”.

According to police the only thing that appears to have been stolen was a bar of chocolate.  However the damaged caused is estimated to be worth €300.
