The band “Blues Blend” will be playing in the Rushmoor-Park on Sunday, 18th August, 2013 at 11am.
At the same time, a 6m high climbing wall will be available for both children and adults to climb, and at 12 noon there will be a walk from the park to the Hohemark.
There will also be food and drink on offer.
Entry is free.
The event is part of the Orscheler Sommer organised by Kunstgriff e.V.
As part of the “Orscheler Sommer” programme a day for the whole family will be taking place in the Rushmoor-Park on Saturday, 17th August, 2013.
A flea market for children will be set up at 2pm, where children can bring along items they wish to sell. They should also bring along a blanket to put on the grass.
A Punch and Judy show will take place at 3.30pm.
And during the afternoon there will be art workshops, games, a large slide, climbing, an orienteering treasure hunt, as well as food and drink on offer.
At 8pm a “short film festival” will take place, where a series of short films will be shown that have been made by local budding filmmakers.
Entry is free.
A rock concert is being held in the Rushmoor-Park on Friday, 16th August, 2013 at 7.30pm.

The Café Portstrasse team are organising outdoor games for children and teenagers aged 12 and over in the Camp King area on Tuesday, 13th August, 2013.
The meeting point is the “Boule” circle, opposite the Kinderhaus, at 4pm.
The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 15th August, 2013.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.
The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 17th August, 2013 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
A disco for over 40s is being held under the name of “TaunusDisco” in the dance school “Tanzschule Pritzer” in the old station building on Saturday, 17th August, 2013.
The music will be a mixture of current music such as “funk” and “soul”, and also some lesser-known pieces such as World Music, all mixed by DJ Param.
Entry is from 9pm and costs 8 Euro.

The Liebfrauenstraße had to be closed at short notice on Wednesday, 7th August, 2013 to allow a damaged water pipe to be repaired. It is expected to stay closed until Friday.
Traffic is being diverted via the Nassauer Straße and Feldbergstraße in both directions.
