Chemist shop broken into – witnesses sought

Detectives in Bad Homburg are asking people to come forward who may have witnessed a break-in at a chemist shop in the Adenauerallee on the night of 19th/20th March, 2013.

The thieves were able to get away with a safe containing cash and some medicines.  They entered the show by force through a side entrance before searching the shop and store areas.  The safe was stolen from one of the side rooms.  Police believe that due to the size of the safe (100x80x40cm) several people were necessary to transport it.  The damage caused is put at €250, although no information has been given as to the value of the contents.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives in Bad Homburg on 06172 1200.

Thefts at the bulding site and the chemist

Over the weekend of 8th-11th March, 2013, around 600 litres of diesel was stolen from the tanks of two vehicles at a building site in the Karl-Herrmann-Flach-Straße.  Police do not know how the thieves managed to transport this amount of fuel and are asking for anyone who can help with the enquiry to call 06171 62400.

On the same weekend thieves broke into a chemist shop in Camp-King-Allee between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning.  They forced the door open and entered both the shop floor area and the store, although it appears they did not take anything.  The damage is estimated at €1,500.
