Tyres dumped in the Käsbachtal – witnesses sought

Both police and the town of Oberursel are looking for the person or persons who dumped around 120 old tyres in an area of woods known as the “Käsbachtal”, just outside the town towards Stierstadt.

Dumping the tyres there is illegal and if caught the culprit will face a fine under environmental law.  They will also face the cost of disposing of the tyres, estimated at around 600 Euro, which will otherwise have to be met by the taxpayer.

Anyone who was in the area on Tuesday, 4th September, 2012 beween 8am and 12.30pm and saw anything – in particular any vehicles in the woods – is asked to call the police station in Bad Homburg on 06172 120-0.
