There will be a book flea market in Oberursel’s library on Saturday, 6th July, 2013 between 10am and 1pm with proceeds going to the library’s supporters’ association.
The library is located at one end of the market square in Oberursel, in the Eppsteinerstraße.
The nearest car parks are “Bleiche” and in the Holzweg. The nearest train station is Altstadt (U3).
A tour entitled “Das keltische Leben am Fuße des Feldbergs” (celtic life at the foot of the Feldberg) is being held on Sunday, 7th July, 2013 at 2pm.
The tour starts at the Taunus Information Centre and costs €5 per person, those taking part should have sturdy footwear.

Early on Thursday morning (20th June, 2013), a car parked in “Am Hang” was scratched by a passing cyclist or motorcyclist. As yet police are unsure what caused the scratch exactly, but around €2,000 of damage was caused to the car.
Whoever is responsible left the scene without notifying the owner of the car and police in Oberursel are asking witnesses to call them on 06171 62400.
Three people were slightly injured and around €40,000 of damage was caused last Thursday morning (20th June, 2013) in an accident that took place in the Zimmersmühlenweg.
A bus was turning right onto a park & ride car park and in doing so had to go further out into the road. The lorry travelling behind failed to stop in time and collided with the bus.
The lorry driver and his passenger were injured, as was an 83-year-old passenger in the bus.

The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 4th July, 2013.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.
The town hall (Rathaus) will be closed from 2pm onwards on Wednesday, 26th June, 2013 to allow an employee meeting to take place.
