The trail was opened for the new season this morning, and additional signs give information on the celtic town “Heidetränk-Oppidum” that was located just outside of what is now Oberursel.

The end of the U3 line at the Hohemark in Oberursel during the public transport strike on 20th March, 2012.

Buses to replace U3 service between Lahnstraße and Hohemark tomorrow

U-Bahn trains at the Hohemark terminus in OberurselThe U3 will not be running between Lahnstraße and Hohemark tomorrow, Saturday 25th February 2012, from 6am until around 4pm.

During this time replacement buses will be running.

The bus stop is in Lahnstraße itself, and not in the Hohemarkstraße.

Toll im Quadrat – The Revue

Nicht nur flamenco revue (© Nathalie Karg)“Toll im Quadrat” is a revue taking place in the Klinik Hohe Mark on Friday, 9th September 2011 at 7pm.

In the revue local graphic designer and dancer Nathalie Karg will present a mixture of flamenco, film, comedy, song and dance, and will be accompanied by John “Lobito” Opheim on the guitar and flamenco matador, singer and percussionist Manuel Lojo “Ardillita”.

Entry to the revue and the accompanying “Bipolart” exhibition costs €12.

The revue is also being performed on Thursday, 8th September 2011 at 4pm in the Südbahnhof in Frankfurt.  No entrance fee is being charged for this performance, which is without the exhibition.

Storys & Worship – Live on Tour

Musical notes - ©Can Stock Photo Inc. / vlastasA charity open-air concert called “Storys & Worship” is being held at the Hohemark Clinic in Oberursel on Monday, 13th June, 2011 at 7pm.

Starring Arne Kopfermann, Someday Jacob and Sara Lorenz, the concert is free to attend, but donations are requested.  The donations will be used to fund a container which will be used to transport a carpenter’s workshop to Rwanda.

To get there by road, leave the A661/B455 at the “Oberursel-Hohemark” exist and follow the signs to the clinic.  There is a car park at the clinic itself, however this is not free.

Using the U-Bahn, take the U3 to the end of the line “Hohemark”, from where it is a short walk.

Please note that in the event of bad weather, the concert will be cancelled, and guests should wear suitable clothing as the seating is not covered.
