Changes to the U-Bahn route (U3) next week

Due to permanent way work at Südbahnhof the U3 will be terminating in Frankfurt at Heddernheim next week.

Between 2am on Monday, 8th January and 3m on Monday, 15th January, 2018, there will be no trains travelling on the “A-Line” between Willy-Brandt-Platz and Südbahnhof.

The U3 will terminate at Heddernheim, from where U1 and U2 trains will continue to Willy-Brandt-Platz.  The U8 will not be running, but there will be an increased service on the U9 line.  To avoid changing platforms at Heddernheim, passengers travelling to Frankfurt with the U3 should alight at “Zeilweg” and then take the U1.

The S-Bahn line S5 also connects Oberursel with the Hauptwache and is not affected by the changes.
