A disco for over 40s is being held under the name of “TaunusDisco” in the dance school “Tanzschule Pritzer” in the old station building on Saturday, 15th June, 2013.
The music will be a mixture of current music such as “funk” and “soul”, and also some lesser-known pieces such as World Music, all mixed by DJ Param.
Entry is from 9pm and costs 8 Euro.

The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 15th June, 2013 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be holding a Stammtisch on Friday, 14th June, 2013 between 5pm and 8.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
The Stammtisch is a place to discuss anything and everything that those attending wish to.

A 28-year-old British citizen of no fixed abode (in Germany, at least) was seen “going on the rampage” as police put it in front of a block of flats in the Kupferhammerweg on Saturday, 17th May, 2013.
When police tried to establish his identity the man tried to stop them by pulling on the jacket of one of the officers and pushing her away.
As a result of his agressive behaviour and resistance to comply he was taken into police custody.
A jewellers shop in the Holzweg was broken into early on Tuesday morning with the thieves making off with gold jewellery.
Although police say the jewellery were in fact “dummies”, the damage is still given as several thousand Euro.
They believe that the thieves broke in by making a hole in the glass door with a sledge hammer.
Whilst they are still evaluating the video evidence, detectives in Bad Homburg would like to hear from anyone who was in the Holzweg between 3.30am and 4am on Tuesday morning and may have seen anything suspicious. They can be reached by telephone on 06172 1200.
A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is being organised in Stierstadt bei Hedi Madl on Tuesday, 11th June, 2013.
To take part, be at the bus stop “Altes Rathaus” in Stierstadt at 3pm.
